Won By One Jamaica (WBOJ)– The mission in Harmons, Jamaica is Changing Lives By Changing Lives. WBOJ has seen the lives of Jamaicans become changed when God’s grace and unconditional love is shared with them in a way that can be fully understood – through His people. They have also seen lives of Americans changed – those who come to serve are exposed to the harsh reality of impoverished culture and see that the only chance of lasting hope can only be found in Christ Jesus. Austin, Guatemala Project – Service Teams of 25 from many Austin area congregations will travel to Guatemala together for a week at a time for “Breakthrough Trips.” By serving side by side, individuals will build relationships with the church of Austin, as well as to develop a vision for what the Church was intended to be. Community Salem Center Orphanage – Bon Repos, Haiti – God has great plans, and over the past year, has helped SHCC gain the privilege of developing relationships with two ministries in Haiti. Through the continued establishment of these relationships, we have been assisting the ministries to provide these beautiful children with basic schooling, water, food and care. We ask that you join us in prayer for the establishment of substantial shelter for these children in the very near future.
