Director of Children’s Ministry
The role of Director of Children’s Ministry is to envision and equip the core volunteer group and leadership of the Children’s Ministry, as well as resource families of children. The Director will be responsible for leading leaders and volunteers with a focus on developing people (in their growth and spiritual health). The Director will also develop and execute the following areas:
- establishing a strong, dynamic team-ministry format for teaching God’s Word;
- recruiting, training and equipping all new and current Children’s Ministry volunteers;
- creating and leading intentional outreach targeting needs of families within our community;
- and management of all database systems pertaining to children and families (check-in system, rosters, etc.).
The Director will also develop departmental budgeting, promote Children’s Ministry events, and establish curriculum and leadership resources. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, high-energy, relationship-building skills, the ability to build successful teams, strong biblical foundation and a passion for children and families.
